Soirée Crêpes (Crepe Making)The group is split into teams and given an introductory presentation with a brief history of crêpes. French language is used in the presentation, encouraging guests to use French when naming ingredients. Each team then makes their own crêpe batter and cooks their crêpes before tucking in!

Le Défi des Oeufs (Great Egg Race)Working in teams, a series of challenges help team members win equipment to help protect their egg from a large fall! Basic French vocabulary is used during the session.

Soirée Autour du Feu (Campfire)Enjoy a traditional campfire run by our Animateurs. Younger guests can enjoy songs and games while older guests can relax, share stories and reflect on their shared experiences of the day.

Courses Folles (Wacky Races)PGL’s own Olympics - a collection of fun relay-style games designed for active participation by all team members.

Money Drop (Million Pound Drop)A multiple-choice quiz based on the famous game show, Million Pound Drop. Teams bet their PGL Pounds on an answer - and if it’s correct, they get to keep it. The team with the most money at the end of the game wins. Most questions are themed around France (e.g. French words, facts and trivia).

Jeux d’Equipes (Team Games)This can involve any area of the centre and Party Leaders can decide how this time is spent. Games include: Rounders, wide games (Capture the Flag, Stuck in the Mud, Fishy Fishy), Football, Volleyball, Man Hunt, Boules or Basketball.

A PGL Animateur will lead each session. Please ensure there is at least one supervising adult from your group present to support your evening entertainment programme. All activities are suitable for large or small groups and will incorporate a French element such as introductions using basic French vocabulary. The core delivery will be in English.

We are very happy to welcome additional adults to join in with the evening entertainment and any assistance with tasks such as judging, keeping score, assisting individual groups etc. will be very gratefully received.

Le Défi Photo (Photo Challenge)Guests are provided with a list of challenges to complete and capture in a photo within an allotted time. The harder to capture images will win more points and help the winning team. This is a great opportunity for guests to explore the centre on their first night. Guests will need to use their own phones to participate in this activity.

Cache Cache (Ambush)Like hide-and-seek but in the dark, and on a much larger scale! Groups split into small teams; one team hides within the centre grounds, leaving a trail for the other team to follow. Bonus points are available for ‘ambushing’ the opposing team. PGL Animateurs will use basic French during the session. Only available October to April.
