Word Unit 2 – Emergency Preparation1. Open the file Emergency Preparation from the Word Unit 2 shared folder.

2. Adjust all page margins to .5 inch. (Page layout)

3. Set Page orientation to Landscape. (Page layout, Page setup group)

4. Double space the entire document. (Select the entire document, Home ribbon, paragraph grouping)

5. Center the document title and apply the Heading 1 style. (Home ribbon)

6. Select all the information below Be Prepared. Create bullets for all items that appear under the “Be Prepared” section and left indent to .75 inch. (Home ribbon, paragraph grouping)

7. Set the subheading “Be Prepared” to Intense Emphasis style. (Home ribbon)

8. Indent the first line of the 1st and 2nd paragraph .5 inch. (2nd paragraph starts By knowing. . .)

9. Insert page numbers that are positioned at the bottom of the document and centered. (Insert ribbon, page numbers)

10. Insert a blank (three column) header with your name left aligned and the assignment name right aligned. Delete the center placeholder.

11. At the end of the 8th bulleted item, insert the following statement (It will be the 9th bullet item): Basic first aid kits must include the following:

12. Create a single spaced, non-bulleted list with a 3 inch left tab (Paragraph launcher) for items in the first-aid kit. Insert the items in the kit as follows:

13. Add the following text effect to the non-bulleted list: Gradient Fill Sapphire. (Font launcher, text effects).

14. Save the document as Emergency Preparation in your Word Unit 2 folder.

15. Email the document to your instructor.
