    house near his own for AdrienNyels teachers

    The teachers often pray and eat theirmeals in Johns house. He begins tolead them.

    Most of the first teachers have left;the remainder move to live in Johnshouse.

    move together into a newly rented

    house (Rue Nueve/ Rue de Contrai).They begin to call themselvesBrothers.

    the confines of a single diocese.

There he receives a letter fromthe Brothers, ordering him under thesame Vow of Obedience that theyhave all taken to return and take upagain the leadership of the Brothers.
