Cream Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2” x 2 1/8” strips

This table runner goes together very fast, if you have your fabric cut out and you use the chain

piecing method. If you are unfamiliar with chain piecing, please refer to your preferred search engine for a

tutorial, descrip on and/or video.

This table runner goes together very fast, if you have your fabric cut out and you use the chain

piecing method. If you are unfamiliar with chain piecing, please refer to your preferred search engine for a

tutorial, descrip on and/or video.

First sew the individual Christmas trees together first, then sew the rest of the block together.

3 This designer chose to applique the stars to the Christmas tree tops a"er sewing the table runner block together. If you

prefer to applique the stars with a smaller work surface, just sew the tree tops together with the center fabric and add

your stars, then complete the Christmas tree block.

Star Templates

The star templates are appliquéd to the top of each Christmas Tree on your table runner. If

you prefer to use fusible web to a:ach them to your trees, use a blanket s�tch on your sew-

ing machine with red thread to further adhere them to your table runner. If you prefer to use

raw edge appliqué, use red thread to secure the stars. If you prefer to use the needle turned

method, please add your seam allowance to the templates above.

The key is to use some type of red thread to make your stars SHINE on top of your trees!
