Greetings friends,
Yes believe it or not you have
received a Christmas newslet-
ter before Christmas!! Yay!
You are reading this letter
because you have been part of
my journey and I want to
thank you for your partner-
ship with me. For without
you I could not be serving in
the call God has given me.
The last few months have
been ones to remember with
an abundance of things going
on and on a few occasions my
brain getting fried!! :) We
have had the National Leaders
Meeting and also the Ship
hand over Nation meeting.
Also the Slingshot Interna-
tional Leadership training
which I had the privilege of
been apart of. With this off
the back of the Mission Ad-
venture outreaches to Palm
Island. Then last week we did
some intensive training with
AusLife, which run an amaz-
ing ministry in many public
high schools across Australia.
Am currently involved in
preparations for Impact Sum-
mer, which is part of the
youth arm of Stable on the
Strand which is a huge com-
bined churches and missions
outreach in Townsville each
year. Focused on a drama-
tized reenactment of the birth
of Christ. It is a huge evan-
gelism opportunity with num-
bers of people going through
each year in the 40 to 50
thousand people category.
Throughout this God has
been at times painfully refin-
ing me. I‟ve felt a bit like the
Apostle Paul at times… Spirit
leading one way and flesh
wanting to walk the opposite.

Happy Birthday Jesus-Christmas Greetings!
YWAM Australia is moving
into a season of quite large
expansion, with a number of
bases increasing training op-
portunities and expanding.
Three of the national minis-
tries that have been major
focal points this year have
been the Mega Cities, an ini-
tiative started out in Perth
base– a vision to saturate the
targeted Mega Cities of the
world (currently in Mexico
City) with teams of love in all
shapes and sizes. Also the
Mercy ministries has released
millions internationally. Then
the ship ministry nationally is
now based in Townsville with
the gift of the medical ship a
month ago. We need your
partnership, your prayer, your
participation and provision
that comes from your hand to
move into the next great
phase of our journey. Could
you pray about partnering
with a YWAM Australia base
and or a national ministry.

Looking back… Palm Island...snapshot from prayer letters “But hey, Palm Island... God is moving. There seems to be a real spiritual shift on the island, even the gradual opening up of the people over the few weeks we were there. You would not have believed how many things went wrong during the three trips, with groups missing ferries, kitchen facilities no longer available, accommodation no longer feasible, such open spiritual warfare with even in the first week a demon manifesting and then physically attacking one of the staff, things been stolen etc. But in complete contrast, a number of the MA students gave their lives to Christ and some of the local kids made first time commitments. One particular story that really encouraged me was during the third week, then myself and the staff including Doug and Suanne Knight (old Wycliffe Bible Translators that were once in PNG) were praying and discussing how the students were going, when we were interrupted by a man shouting up the driveway of where we were staying. One thing led to another and Jarred and Andrea asked us to pray for them. As we began to pray and listen to their story, we discovered that Jarred had actually been planning and on his way to hang himself and Andrea was trying to talk him out of it. We had the privilege of leading them to Christ as they recommitted their lives to him”.
Mission Adventure Possibilities
YWAM Medical Ship happenings...
I am patiently waiting to see what God has in store for mission adventures and all the possibilities that entails. Cur-rently we (youth depart-ment) have put through a proposal to begin to multiply mission adven-tures up to and beyond 2013. It is exciting to pray and see what God is putting on our hearts. This may entail mobiliz-ing and training and equipping local youth in Papua New Guinea, which I am really, really excited and passionate about. Currently I feel as though God is really teaching me about his timing and also realizing I can not please every-one. Currently I have a number of schools wanting clarification and commitments for next year. However currently due to a number of changes we have to put it on hold. Part of me wants to honor
them and make promises, but I am beginning to realize that I can not always do this. Which may mean we lose
schools temporarily, but Gods plans are always better and much bigger. The other thing I am really beginning to un-
derstand and grow in, is mov-ing from being my own boss and been able to make things happen fast yet not always
with quality to been involved in a team and following a lot of protocol and waiting on God‟s timing a lot more than running in like a bull at a gate like I used to.
But that‟s enough for me, I pray that you have a really refresh-ing break and enjoy spending time with your family. As in the end, as God keeps reminding me, it is about relation-ship with God and people. By our love for each other we are known...
Bless you guys!! Love you heaps! Enjoy Celebrating Christ‟s Birthday!!

So as many of you know, the

ministry. As our base
director reminded us
the other day, please pray for us. As we are experiencing a lot of
favour and success that we do not lose sight of keeping Christ
central to all that we do and to give him the glory. As a mate of
mine said on DTS, “Keep the main thing, the main thing”.

This would be a good place to insert a short paragraph about
your organization. It might include the purpose of the organiza-
tion, its mission, founding date, and a brief history. You could
also include a brief list of the types of products, services, or pro-
grams your organization offers, the geographic area covered (for
example, western U.S. or European markets), and a profile of
the types of customers or members served.
It would also be useful to include a contact name for readers who
want more information about the organization.
