Christmas is coming to townThis year once again, Kartell is sure to amaze, with the gift of timeless emotion, offering a range of original, designer products in an explosion of creativity for every occasion. Delicate snow flakes will settle on the brand’s latest innovations to create that typical Christmas magic.

At the end of the year, the Kartell flagship stores will be dressed with a layout that will exude Christmas am-bience, including window graphics inspired by the “snow globe”, the classic crystal ball with the effect of falling snow. Inside, the products will suggest the smartest and most original gift ideas and the windows will have special sets to offer Christmas shopping suggestions and inspiration.

The delicate colours of the Componibili Bio are the ideal gift to furnish any corner of the house. The storage unit, designed in 1967 by Anna Castelli Ferrieri, is coming soon to Kartell stores, in the totally eco-sustain-able edition, made from a biomass similar to plastic, created in a biological process. The modular units are available in four shades - green, pink, taupe and yellow in the three-module version.

Light has always been the great protagonist of the festive ambience, and Kartell offers different solutions to light up the Christmas period. Big Battery by Ferruccio Laviani is the maxi version of the iconic mini bedside lamp, dimmable and 100% rechargeable via a simple electric plug with an autonomy of 8 hours. As with the mini version, this version is extremely easy to move. The maxi version also comes in a version with an elec-trical cable. Both are available in crystal, plum, blue and cola.

Toy is the table lamp by Moschino and Jeremy Scott, that’s on every trend setter’s wish list. The lamp is ready to light up the bedrooms of little ones waiting for Santa Claus, with its soft light and its fun design.

The refined perforated structure of Mini Kabuki - the table version of the lamp by Laviani, available in trans-parent crystal, green and blue, as well as black or white opaque versions - creates wonderful plays of light. For contemporary, international inspiration, the Space table lamp by Adam Tihany recalls the forms of the Space Needle, the tower which made Seattle’s skyline famous: an original gift idea, with a futuristic vibe, available in gold, copper, chrome and titanium.

Fabio Novembre’s Trullo is the perfect place to keep those Christmas cookies. A table container with a con-ical lid, inspired by the architecture of the typical houses of Alberobello in Apulia. Novembre continues the creative path influenced by the architecture of his homeland, Apulia which, following on from Piazza, the tray that reproduces the surface and the geometries of the squares of Lecce, continues with Trullo containers, available in crystal/fumé, sage green/pink, fumé/green and yellow/blue colour combinations.

The warmth of wood is one of the protagonists of Christmas settings. The Smart Wood Collection by Philippe Starck is the line of armchairs and chairs created in the oldest and noblest of materials, ideal for snuggling up on cold winter nights. The Smart Wood collection consists of the K/wood armchair in royal style, also avail-able in a version with leather upholstered seat, completed by S/wood, a coordinating footrest with the same finishes, and by the Q/wood armchairs, with black or white plastic seat, and P/wood, characterised by a unique woodworking technique that combines timeless elegance with contemporary forms. Available in ba-sic veneer or slatted ash, in light or dark finishes, combined with chrome-plated or painted steel structures.
