Christmas EveDad with children o decorate the Christmas tree. Mum prepare s12 dishs for example: fish,borsch, stufted, dumplimg, etc. When first star is coming everyone sit at a table and pray and then we make withes and eat all dishs.12 dishs becouse there are 12 month. We leave one coven for a tire wonder if someone may come to us as a visitor. About midninght we go on the night mass called „Pasterka”. People belive that about this time animals can speak and we can talk with them.

26.12 – St. Stephen Day

In this day we bring herbs to the church. In some locatitres people overcast priest consecrate herbs. Boys scatter strow in the front of un maried young girls they sometimes open and carry out front fence. To the Three Kings day dressed children called„carollers” are visiting homes sing carols .

Three Kings Day

To born Jesus came three kings: Kacper, Melchior and Baltazar. From diffrent sites of world. In church we celebrate chalk, myrrh and incense. On the door we write K+M+B and year. Christmas tree is kept in our houses to the 2nd February .

New Year

New Year 's Eve we celebrate 31st December / 1 January we go to different parties, balls, events on which celebrate and we are happy entertaining with friends. At midnight we open champagne, make wishes and go out blowing up artificial fires. The time is passing by with accompany of nice good dance music hearing evverywhere...
