Alsace they eat goose, and in Burgandy they eat turkey with chestnuts.

Almost every French home puts out a nativity set made by

craftsmen in southern France.

Pere Noel

In France children call Santa Pere Noel. Pere Noel brings small gifts on St. Nicholas eve (Dec. 6).

Then, he visits again on Christmas.

instead of Merry Christmas.
