On Christmas

there are fireworks ,brass band ,and

dancing in Brazil. Brazil eat roast turkey ,

vegetables, and fruit

for the poor ,chicken ,rice ,and beans is

there special foods for Christmas feast

.The next day when Christmas is over

ever body meet in the big

town square in brazil and they play folk

dancing ,singing ,and festivals .

dfb they go to church for 6 hours.Brazil

is the biggest country in south America

.south America celebrate Christmas in

December 27 so people can have time to

buy presents.

Holiday Recipes

lb lasagna noodle

2 lbs lean ground beef or 2 lbs lean ground turkey

1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

1 (15 ounce) can pizza sauce

4 cups ricotta cheese

4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

2 eggs

1 tablespoon parsley

1 teaspoon basil

2 teaspoons oregano

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Brown meat and drain off fat.

Add spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, salt and pepper.

Cook noodles in boiling water until tender.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In separate bowl, mix together ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, parmesan, eggs and herbs.

6BAKE 30MINS AND ENJOY

tablespoon vegetable oil (olive oil)

1 small onion, finely diced

1 garlic clove, minced

1 cup long-grain rice

1 habanero pepper (or 2 jalapeno peppers)

2 -2 1/4 cups hot water

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Pour the oil into a large saucepan and heat for a few seconds.

Add the onion, garlic, and rice.

Fry gently, stirring for about 4 minutes.

Add the chili pepper, hot water, and salt. Stir well and bring to a boil.

Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until the rice is soft and the water has been absorbed.

Remove the chili pepper
