FAMILY We light the Christ candle signifying that the Light of the World has come to earth.

This night is like no other night in the history of the world. For it was on this night that God, the Creator of the universe took on human flesh as a baby.

CONGREGATION His name is Jesus and he shall save the people from their sins.

FAMILY For God so love the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in

him shall not perish but have eternal life.

CONGREGATION For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the

world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned.

Christmas Eve Family Services allow children of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando to lead in worship to tell the story of Jesus’ birth in a special way. The Rejoice! Children’s Choir sing and play Orff instruments (i.e. xylophones), telling the story musically. They rehearse each Sunday during the Fall to prepare for this day. The SHINE actors volunteer their time to give a visual of the story of Jesus’ birth. We are grateful to all the families that gave of their time and allowed their child to lead God’s people this afternoon.
