Some of you are familiar with my (Beau’s) career prior to us

being called into full time ministry at CFT. My days in the

corporate world were focused on protecting financial

investments. I played a small part in helping people have

“secure” retirements. Of course, the events of the recent

recession reminded us there is really no such security.

In spite of this fact, our culture hasn’t lost hope. The experts are

still focused on how to find that illusive, secure yet profitable

investment mix.

Jesus also offered financial tips to his disciples. He even

guaranteed the security of His investment strategy. In Matthew

6:19-23, he said:

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth

and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. “But store

up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor

rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for

where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

So many of you have invested your financial treasure in God’s

work through us over the years. We know that your heart is withus and we are eternally grateful.

This past year you have literally invested in hundreds of

children, teens, individuals and couples. You have helped the

teen whose Dad has never been involved in his life. You have

ministered to the child who was abused and neglected. You have

provided emergency care to the couple whose relationship is

disintegrating.

You have offered a secure hope to the person struggling with an

addiction.

Your generosity allows us to continue to minister on a donation

only basis. No one is turned away due to an inability to donate

In fact, those we are ministering to have only given

approximately 25% of what it takes to keep the ministry open

this year. The remaining 75% comes from the generous

investments of people like you.

As 2013 comes to a close, we would like to ask you to 

prayerfully consider making a year-end investment in our wor

and/or join our ongoing support team by making monthly,

quarterly or semi-annual investments in 2014.

As we mentioned last year, the Lord has faithfully provided for

us over the last 9 years. This past year was no exception. We

have not missed a bill. Our kids are still fed and clothed !. We

therefore do not come to you out of desperation, guilt or

manipulation. We ask out of our desire to include you in thi

wonderful and eternally significant investment in people’s

lives.
