ur purpose is to improve the life chances of young people through high quality education, leading to worthwhile qualifications and the development of skilful, honest and employable young people. It is an expectation that children,
adults and all who are connected with the school share, learn, aspire and continually improve.
We are inclusive and comprehensive. Students of all abilities and backgrounds are welcomed to Christleton from our local community.
In 2012, we opened a new £0.75 million research centre. In 2011 we became an Academy, enabling us to serve our children and community more effectively with greater academic and financial freedom. Our results are consistently amongst the higest in the region typically. 55% of all A2 level students achieved A*, A or B grades and 95% of all GCSE students achieving 5 good passes (A*-C).

Education improves lives
• It is through studying the most challenging subjects that students secure the best future.• Over 100 students in 2012 studied Maths and Further Maths to A level.• All students study separate Sciences, taught by highly qualified specialist teachers.• Over 90% of our Sixth Form students secured a place at the university of their choice in 2012.

Our monitoring, celebration and improvement systems throughout the school are based on the premise that only when we do our best, can we fully understand our strengths and weaknesses.
Teachers, students and parents can all support progress using real time data for effort,
achievement and attendance. This will enable students to work in a supported and informed
way to maximise their learning potential.
Structured for success
Currently over 300 students have musical instrument tuition. In 2012 students won 17 local and area sporting cups.

To learn and succeed, we promise our students support, care and inspiration. Christleton High School provides the opportunity to make lifetime friends in an open and trusting atmosphere, where free speech and questions are nurtured. Talent is developed through early specialisation and a rich and varied extra-curricular programme of academic, sporting and artistic activities including local, national and international educational experiences. In addition, all students have the option of participating in musical instrument lessons and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme.
