The pronoun “ze” has been the preferred pronoun in the transgender community for years. However, it has not been embraced by culture. Oxford University in Oxford, England, is attempting to speed up the English culture’s embracement of the term by telling students to use the gender-neutral pronoun. In the school’s behavioral code, it is offensive to use the wrong pronoun to refer to a person. Nearby Cambridge University is following suit.

Note: “He” is the pronoun for males, “she” is the pronoun for females. “Ze” is the pronoun for, what? A pronoun that doesn’t correspond to a specific noun is nothing more than a nonsensical political statement. Think about it. “Ze ran into ze at the market when ze’s cart hit ze’s legs. Ze took the opportunity to talk to ze about ze’s family.” I guess ze has to be used for his and her. Nothing in the above paragraph paints the appropriate picture that words normally paint. Did a man bump into a lady and ask about her family, or did a woman bump into a man, or a man into a man, or a woman into a woman?

Pray for President Trump (Whether you voted for him ornot) and his cabinet, our legislators and all who makedecisions that have huge ramifications. 1 Timothy 2:1-2says, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for allpeople—forkingsandallthoseinauthority, thatwemaylive peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness andholiness.” One issue facing the President is to keepterroristsout, yetmeethumanitarianneeds.

Have you ever dealt with the grief of losing a loved one? Such grief is intense. Maybe you know someone who could use support? We will run another cycle of GriefShare beginning on March 28th. This support group is led by people who know what grief is, and have learned much about how to approach it. You will share this time with fellow grievers, who are where you are.
