Church :
1. Our Church Anniversary Luncheon will be held in the Rentoul Hall following today's Combined Service. All are welcome! A Big thank you to all brothers and sisters who have helped to prepare the delicious food.
2. Praise God let all agenda items were passed on AGM on 26 August. Brother Hong Cheng, Brother Christopher Au, Brother Danny Cheng and Sister Tennie Lau have been elected as deacons. The Church would like to thank Brother Aaron Pho for his contribution and faithful service to the church as he step down from the deacon role.
3. Emerald Law is looking for brothers and sisters who have passion in serving the neighborhood through Food Ministry. Please contact her if you are interested or for more details.
4. There were about 15 people sign up for the Reverb 40 Hours Famine. Praise the Lord that they have raised about
$1776.

Prayer Item
Pray for the needs of the world, our country and our community o Pray for God's protection upon Christians in China as the religious
control is tightening with new registration requirements and closer monitoring of the churches.
o Pray for our country and new Prime Minister, Scott Morrison. Pray that he and the government will lead the country with compassion and a desire for justice.
o Pray for reliefs for the homeless and drought affected rural communities in Australia.
Pray for C&MA and our International Worker
o Thank God that Gary, Jayne and the boys are settling well in a new city in China. Pray for Gary’s colleagues to continue to seek Jesus and they can make meaningful relationships with their neighbours.
o Praise God there are some new team members working with Yakim and Grace in East Africa.
o Pray for God's healing upon Cecelia, our partner missionary in Israel, as she is receiving cancer treatment in her hometown, Chile.
o Pray for other International Workers: Dr. Harry and Faith in Cambodia, Brother Yee and Candy in West Africa, Susanna in Thailand, the Bury family in Peru, Steve and Lyn Cook for Muslim resource, Dr Daniel Shayesteh and his ministry “Exodus from Darkness”.
Pray for the needs of our Church o Praise God for His unfailing love and faithfulness throughout the past 31
year. o Praise God for the newly elected deacons. Pray that our Pastors, Elders,
Deacons and other ministry leaders will be empowered by the Holy Spirit for effective ministry and service. Pray for the Combined Board meeting on 12 September.
o Pray for unity and God's guidance in the implementation of the Church Theme: Proclaim HOPE - on Mission. Pray for our on-going outreach ministry and the follow up of new comers.
o Pray for God’s guidance upon the food ministry and pray for opportunities and courage to share the gospel and God's love with our neighbours.
o Pray for the ongoing Aged Care visitation. Pray that brothers and sisters will be able to share gospel to the residents. Our next visit will be on 14 September and the special Sunday visit on 30 September.
o Pray for God’s comfort and healing upon those brothers and sisters who are unwell or have special needs.
