Ever wondered what DIVINE MERCY really is
or how to explain it to others?
As part of our parish’s
celebration of the Jubilee Year of
Divine Mercy we are hosting a 10
part video series titled “Divine
Mercy in the Second Greatest Story
Ever Told”. This fascinating and
informative series will guide us
through the dramatic history of
God’s Love and Mercy through the stories of St.
Faustina, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Our Lady of Fatima,
and Pope St John Paul II.
So join us as we learn to better understand and
appreciate Divine Mercy on Monday, April 11 from
7-8 pm in Parish Centre at Christ the King.
Following sessions are April 18, April 25, May 2, May
9, May 16, May 23, May 30, June 6, and June 13. No
cost and no registration required.

Regular Financial Commitment
Christ the King family members are generous when it comes to giving money towards charities and projects here at Christ the King and abroad and in the case of the Syrian Refugee family sponsorship, support has been amazing. We want to remind you that operating expenses continue to be incurred monthly and we count on your regular financial support. More families are taking on the challenge and signing up for automatic-funds-transfer. This ensures that your financial support is regular when perhaps your life is consumed by other challenges. Signing up for AFT is simple – the forms are available in the main entrance of the church OR you can stop in at the parish office during business hours for more information. For those of you that have envelopes, you have the option to place your ‘future dated’ envelopes in the collection basket if you know you will be away. Envelopes dated in the future will be processed on the appropriate ‘future’ date. We all have a responsibility to our church home just like we do our personal homes. We encourage you to prayerfully consider the above, review your financial commitment to your Christ the King home and then commit to being a
regular supporter of your parish home.
CWL CORNER
Rose on the Altar If you
or someone you know from our parish has
recently had a baby, the CWL would like to

the altar during mass. For more information or to
be a part of this, please contact
Shannon Robertson at 306-584-9656

here! Our strawberry shortcake and
