Parish News Renovation Town Hall - Save the Date
Thanks to our very generous parishioners, 72 baby bottles were returned filled with $475.15 in coins, $1,080 in cash and $1,510 in checks, for a total gift to YoungLives Camden for $3,065.15. Your money will help young moms and their ba-bies with both material and spir-itual support. A special thank
you to the young parishioners who made and donat-ed these Disney necklaces!

Positions Available for High School Students in Need of Service Hours
Christ the King Parish [200 Windsor Avenue Haddonfield, NJ 08033] has positions available for respectful, independent, com-puter savvy individuals looking to fulfill their service requirements.
Bible Study A/V Assistant
The assistant will arrive 10-15 minutes before the Bible study to turn on and test the technology for projecting and live streaming the study. During the study, the assistant will share questions from live streamers with the lecturer. At the conclusion of the study, the assistant will turn off and secure the tech-nology. Basic knowledge of MacBook and Keynote required. Training available. The Bible study runs from mid-September through late May from 6:30 to 7:30 PM on Tuesdays. Each session will be given 1.5 hours credit of service.
Mass Sacristan
The sacristan will arrive 15-20 minutes before Mass to set up the chalice, ciborium (ciboria), bread, wine, water, and lavabo. Following the Mass, the sacristan will clean these items and return them to the sacris-ty. The sacristan will also be responsible for the altar candles and live-stream technology. Other duties relevant to preparing for Mass may be assigned as needs arise. Scheduling will be done monthly. Sac-ristans are needed for all Sunday Masses year-round. This is a great step-up for any former altar servers; however, all are welcome, and training is available. Service credit will be individualized based on the amount of masses served.
All interested candidates are encouraged to email Cheryl Judge, [email protected] with avail-ability, position of interest, contact information and any experience you may wish to share. Please check out our website to learn more about us: www.ctkhaddonfield.org.

15th Sunday in Ordinary Time
“He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick – no food, no sack, no money in their belts.” MARK 6:8
Imagine taking nothing but a stick when you go on a trip. The Apostles must have really trusted in God’s providen-tial care. Think of all the material things “we can’t live without” in today’s world. We make our life’s journey more difficult because of all the material baggage that we drag along. Putting Stewardship first in everything and putting our money and possessions second gives us free-dom because we don’t become “slaves” to wanting to ac-quire more things
