Successfully took ownership of developing the process’s workflow, logging and investigating any discrepancies with the Operational Regulatory Control and Front Office Operations teams, writing up comprehensive reports for review and signoff by ORC and senior client management, and identifying and executing improvements to the process as part of a wider process review strategy.

Created complex Access and Excel logic (VBA) to compare data across four different data sources to replace the previous manual ‘eyeballing’ process which presented high operational risk. This has been built into the existing process and adapted to give immediate and accurate results, highlighting issues on an exception-only basis.

Defined a process flow diagram detailing each step to the process, what data we need from each source (and what dependencies these have downstream), and written a thorough procedure guide to detail and enshrine the improvements made to the process.
