• Utilized knowledge of gas turbine experience to troubleshoot mechanical and operational events. • Performed the installation of some of the first non-OEM parts (PSM) used in a Calpine 501F unit including transitions, row 1 vanes, pilots, and row 1,2 and 3 turbine blades. • Managed one of the first TMG/Calpine maintenance outages on a Calpine 501F unit utilizing non- OEM labor • Helped develop and wrote internal maintenance procedures/guidelines necessary for self- performing maintenance outages. • Advised plant management concerning, component replacement, modifications, improvements, scheduling, and operational issues. • Assisted on root cause analyses of transition, ring segment, basket, nozzle, compressor, and blade failures and issues. • Supervised OEM and non-OEM craft labor on numerous turbine overhauls.
