Membership Levels
Following a selective poll of the corporate supporters and Planning Planet community we can confirm the proposed membership levels:
Industry “Fellow” - to be granted upon application and review, Forensic Analysis and Project Controls
“Master” or “Specialty Fellow” - able to manage teams and provide project and corporate strategy – expert level in a specific discipline
“Advanced” - to be able to provide guidance and manage teams
“Competent” - a proven level, able to generally operate under own initiative
“Foundation”- a basic level of understanding a capability
“Registered” – pending skill and capability testing / student level

The Guild recognises other industry related professional qualifications issued by the CIOB, PMI, APM, ACostE or AACE International
What does this mean for a member? - You could be eligible for a higher level of membership pre accreditation process.
What do I need to do? - Apply and Guild experts will benchmark the certifications against the career matrix and membership levels.
You will be awarded this level and career path, along with being flagged in the system as “cross-accredited”. Once the Guild’s accreditation process is up and running you will be required to validate your stated level of competence and career path by carrying out the Guild Accreditation process. This must be within 6 months of it being launched.
You will be eligible for a major discount on the cost of certification.

The self assessment is an honour- process to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and to help identify were you may wish to improve.
It is NOT part of the accreditation demonstrating competence.
A Guild Officer will liaise with you in this step to welcome you to the Guild and identify contacts

The Guild is setting “Standards of Practice”, through the Professional Standards Committee, that will set the expectations that employers will have of Guild Members. These standards form the bedrock of our capabilities and are one of the fundamental changes the Guild will introduce into the working environment. Remember these standards are set by your peers so you can influence them.
