Welcome to the very first issue of CHP News. You can look for this newsletter every Monday in your email in-box from [email protected], and note the announcements about upcoming events and opportunities.
We have an interesting and varied slate of Honors Congress events this semester. You can see the full schedule at this link. Here and in each issue of CHP News, we’ll be promoting events as they approach.
We’ll also use CHP News to tell you about new practices and traditions within the program. One such new practice is the establishment this year of the Honors Leadership Council. This group will be comprised of 8-12 CHP students from all four classes. The group will represent student interests, advise the CHP director, and help plan future events and programs. If you wish to apply to serve on the Honors Leadership Council, fill out and email the forms to [email protected]. The deadline for the receipt of both forms is Friday, March 1, 2019.
