Choosing The Right HandleWhen buying door handles, it is important to know what type of door handles are available and are right for you.

Lever Latch Handles Internal use only. Usually mounted onto a backplate. You will need a tubular mortice latch to fit this correctly to the door.

Lever Lock Handles When a door needs to be secured, these locks have a keyhole cut for use where a lock is required. You will need a mortice sashlock to fit this correctly to the door.

Lever privacy Handles Generally used on bathroom doors. On the inside of the door there is a thumbturn and on the outside of the door there is a release slot which can be used to unlock the door in an emergency. You will need a tubular latch to fit this correctly to the door.

Lever Bathroom Handles Used to lock a toilet or bathroom door. You will need a bathroom mortice sashlock to fit this correctly to the door. A release slot on the outside allows entrance in an emergency.

Round Rose on Lever Handles A great alternative to the lever on backplate door handle. These handles are mounted on a small round backplate and can be fitted with a tubular latch. If locking is required, either a mortice sashlock and escutcheon or bathroom mortice sashlock and thumbturn can be used.

Mortice Door Knobs Are mounted on a small round backplate. These handles can be fitted with a tubular latch or with a matching bathroom turn or escutcheon.
