Big Big Sing at Queens University Belfast
On Saturday 25thOctober, Elaine made the tripnorth of the border
to Queen's University Belfastfor Big Big Sing
Big Big Singis a UK-wide singing project thataims to inspire
thousands of people to getsinging, enjoy the health and wellbeing
benefitsit brings, and have fun.
Visit from International School ofBrusselsJapanese Club
On Wednesday 29th October, we welcomed18 teenage students and 3
teachers from theInternational School of Brussels - JapaneseClub to
our rehearsal at the MACROCommunity Resource Centre
Thank you to the students and teachers foryour very generous
donation and support ofour inclusive community choir projects.
We hope you enjoy your stay in Ireland andthank you for
participating in our rehearsal.Music is the one universal
languagewhich unites us all!
Otherworld Festival in BallymunThe Otherworld Festival is the
largest Halloween Festival in Dublin. It takes place outside
theAxis Theatre in Ballymun on 31st October every year.
Music Matters took part in the Otherworld Festival for the very
first time - and many of us joinedin the festivities by wearing our
best Halloween costumes! We took to the stage at the MusicMatters
Mayhem Marquee
We would like to thank Emma Connors, from the Otherworld
Festival Committee for inviting us
to this event and the stewards for assisting our members on and
off the stage, and for ensuringeverything ran smoothly.For more

During the course of theafternoon there was awhistle-stop tour
of musicfrom different countriesand culturesfrom theUK, to India,
Jamaica andSouth AfricaThe pace of the afternoon
was energetic, as a choirof over 200 people joinedtogether in
song andharmony!
Elaine will certainly share the catchy tunesshe learned at Big
Big Singwith our choirmembers!
