    Summertime and the living is easy ...

    May was an interesting month for Music Matters Inclusive Choir!

    It is now holiday season, and many of our members are going away and taking breaks from alltheir hard work in choir!

    Not to worry, as choir will continue EVERY WEEK over the Summer months!

    Womens Mini Marathon

    Last Monday 3rdJune, Eleanor and Elaine took part in the Flora Womens Mini Marathon toraise funds for our choir!

    We would like to thank them for all their hard work and effort they put into training for this event!Congratulations to both of you! Thank you to everyone who donated so generously!

    Congratulations also to Aine and her mum, Anne, who took part to raise funds for their charity,22Q11 Ireland. Our choir is very excited about singing at the First Ever 22Q11 Ireland

    conference which will start on Thursday, 18th July. More details to follow, soon!

    New blog: Music Matters at St Michaels HouseGrinne and wonderful volunteers, Linda, Eleanor and Lee, are working with the musicians inWork Options, St Michaels House, Green St, who will keep us up to date with their musicaltraining, by writing a blog!

    Tina Hart In Memory

    All at Music Matters were saddened to learn of the death of Tina Hart, a choir member and dearfriend to many of us. Tina died peacefully in her own home on Tuesday 28th May, after being illfor the past few months.We remember Tina as being very friendly and chatty. She always had a kind word for everyoneand she had huge enthusiasm for singing! She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

    We send out our sympathies and condolences to Tinas mum, sister, and brothers, and all ofTinas family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.

    May she Rest in Peace

    Visit from Danielle!

    Last Wednesday 29th May, we were delighted

    when Danielle Friel, one of our fantastic

    volunteers paid us a visit!

    Danielle has been very busy with her own Arts &

    Crafts business, Amaretto Crafts. We wish

    Danielle every success in the future and hope

    she can come back to visit us very soon!

    Glria: Concert in National Concert Hall

    GlriaDublins Lesbian & Gay Choir areproudly celebrating their 18th Birthdaythis year!The choir started in 1995 and

    now has almost 70 people!

    Glria are the excellent choir who sang atour concert in Blackrock, last November.

    On Saturday 15 June, Glria will have their

    Summer Concert in the National ConcertHall. There will be 3 other choirs performingwith Glria on the night Choral Con Fusionfrom Cork, Quire from Belfast and DublinGay Mens Chorus.

    Glria also has an Outreach Choir andElaine will be singing with them on the night!With over200 singers, this will be a veryentertaining and magical night!
