Chloe Trujillo is an accomplished artist and cultural phenomenon. Raised in Paris by

fashion designer parents and an Opera singer grandfather, Chloe Trujillo grew up

surrounded by music, beauty, art and design. Fascinated by science, she took a different

path. She began studying matter structure and quantum mechanics but eventually was

drawn back to the arts. She has enjoyed success as a fine artist, designer and musician.

Based in Los Angeles, Chloe creates her complex, layered, deeply saturated artwork with

joy and spontaneity. By allowing the text, symbols, colors and composition to flow

through her and onto the canvas, she releases herself from preconceived notions and

taps into pure creativity. Inspired by the vast range of human experience along with a

deep connection to the spiritual realm, Chloe connects with her audience through the

beauty of her vision, sensitivity of her spirit and sincerity of her intention. She knows

that when she creates something with love and excitement it is infused with that energy.

Her goal is to inspire and uplift others with her work. Her work has been exhibited in

group and solo exhibitions in Paris, Los Angeles and San Francisco. She is also currently

a featured artist at the Imitate Gallery in London, upcoming exhibitions include: London-

September Fashion Week.

RC: What are you most passionate about?

CT: Creative expression in all forms, art, music and writing mostly. Spirituality applied to

every day life. The connection between All that Is. Always including a part of mysticism,

spirituality and magic.

RC: Describe Chloe Trujillo in three words.

CT: Mystical, Soulful and Creative.

RC: Who influenced you most growing up?

CT: My parents. They were both artists, fashion designers and multicultural socialites,

hanging out with poets, musicians, artists, writers and politicians from all over the world,

sharing their work and ideas and travelling. They gave me a great work ethic, as well as

an endless thirst for discovering this whole mysterious yet fascinating Universe we live

in.

RC: What is the most challenging part about being a designer?

CT: Ideas are endless but the real challenge for me in fashion design is always finding the

right person who can bring my ideas to life at the level of quality and craftsmanship I

look for… It seems that nowadays focus is on producing quantities and money making

rather than quality and art.



RC: What fabrics do you like the most to work with? why?

CT: I love natural fabrics and my favorite one is silk! I love the versatility and “chicness”

of it, I also love the fact that it translates my colorful artwork with vibrancy and

sharpness. Plus silks feel great on! don’t you think?

RC: What is your favorite daily wear attire?

CT: My favorite daily wear is the one that will make me feel my best that day!, the one

which will uplift me, give me confidence and joy! So it really depends on what I will be

doing, where I am and how I want to feel.

RC: Why did you choose fashion and Art as your creative outlet?

CT: I didn’t choose it!, it chose me! I make music, abstract math and study quantum

physics on the side. I can’t help it. I wouldn’t feel complete without practicing all of it.



RC: If you were an animated character, who would you be and why?

CT: A kind of Lorelei or Rapunzel (these have always been my nicknames along with

Brigitte Bardot, all because of my very long hair) but I could see myself as the High

Priestess of the Tarot deck.

RC: What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?

CT: Too many to mention, I’ve always been a risk-taker, pushing boundaries, creating

that high dose of joy that makes you feel more alive, widening that comfort zone so I can

explore my inner self and transcend my fears.

RC: What would be your one super power?

CT: Transcending time so that I would be able to create and express all that I want to

express without feeling its pressure!

RC: What’s your personal motto?

CT: Knowingness…
