ACADEMIC OPPORTUNITY TEACHING AND RESEARCH In the most recent teaching quality assessment, Strathclyde scored over 90% rating at either “excellent” or “highly satisfactory” – ahead of all other Scottish universities. Our research strengths were highlighted by the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) in which over 90% of our staff across all departments achieved the top rating score of 4 or 5. This means they are conducting research of national or international excellence.

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES MSc in Urban Design WEB: http://www.strath.ac.uk/architecture/research/urbandesignstudiesunit
The Unit, led by Professor Sergio Porta and Dr. Ombretta Romice, is currently moving towards an interpretation of urban form and dynamics as layered manifestations of the complex relationships of mutual change and evolution, and this requires new ways of interpreting, representing and managing space. The Unit has developed International expertise on urban analysis from both a morphological and an experiential angle on Multi-Centrality Analysis, urban regeneration, sustainable transport and development, community engagement in design and Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE).
