I joined a group of graphic designers who spent two weeks in China, visiting advertising and graphic design studios as well as universities and academies with fine art +design programs. We toured Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Xian and Hong Kong during the summer of 2008, when China was about to host the summer Olympics. These are some of the pictures I took while I was there.

This was an AIGA [American Institute of Graphic Arts] XCD [Center for cross cultural design] tour led by Zelda Harrison and Christopher Liechty
