Where are we going?

China is in East Asia Today, it is the most populated

country in the world… over a billion people live there.

Its capital is called Beijing It is a communist government… one

social class of people

No, because they were geographically isolated. This means their geography kept them from communicating with others.

China has always been ruled by dynasties

The first dynasty was called the Shang The kings of the Shang had a four class

system of grouping They had warlords or military rulers to

rule different districts. Most people were traders and farmers

The Zhou created a bureaucracy or divided government into different departments

Kings were considered linked between heaven and earth
