Notification of AGM outcome to all parents, carers and guardians

The PTA positions are two-year roles, and generally have two people on a staggered schedule shar-ing the duties. The amount of work varies depending on the position, the time of year, and the role-sharing situation. Following a successful AGM meeting yesterday, here are the following out comes of positions within the PTFA.

Leanne Godley – Chair of PTFA

Claudia Souter – CO-Chair of PTFA

Kelly Lakhssassi – Vice Chair

Kirsty Matthews – Secretary

Christina Sweatman – Treasurer

Angela Dexter – Treasurer

Communications Co-Chair: Directs PTA communications, ensuring that the community is kept in-formed of PTA events, opportunities and needs. Provides focus, streamlines, enhances and acts a resource for all PTA-related communications, including the PTFA newsletter the PTA website, and all-school email communications.

Vice President: Oversees the annual fundraising campaign for the following year’s budget and chairs the PTA fundraising committee and provides a backstop and support for the Chairs.

Secretary: Collects information for meeting agendas, prior to the meeting, and distributes agendas for each board meeting. Takes minutes and records business transacted at each meeting (board and general meetings). Keeps an accurate, concise, permanent record of proceedings at all PTA board and general meetings and keeping them on file for easy access, plus emailing to the PTFA mailbox.

Treasurer (2 positions): Collects money for PTA functions, dispenses money for PTA expenses, main-tains all accounts and records, provides monthly reports and projections at PTA meetings and files all tax forms. Serves as chair of the budget/finance committee and presents the budget to the mem-bership.

We are excited to be working closely with you all. We are having two co-chairs and a vice chair posi-tion as it will sustain a better PTFA. The report for the AGM will be made available at a request, if you would like a copy of the report please email the PTFA mail box at [email protected]

A PTA newsletter will be sent out with the schools newsletter so please do look out for it in the email, we are grateful for all volunteers and parents that have supported the PTA throughout the years and currently still supporting.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the meeting and all the volunteers that work tire-lessly for the PTA and school, we are truly grateful for everything you do.
