Sometimes we might think of saints as liv-
ing many many years ago But saints are
alive among us today Thatrsquos because peo-
ple who love God very very much are
around us today
Just a few months ago our Orthodox Church
declared a man a saint His name was ElderPorphyrios Now we can call him St Porphy-
rios St Porphyrios was a monk and a priest
who lived in Greece He died in
1991 He spent a lot of his life
working at a hospital chaplain in Athen
God gave St Porphyrios many gifts Oncould know things without being told
would know what people were thinking
come visit somebody without being cal
this his ldquospiritual televisionrdquo
Today is the Sunday of All Saints Alway
God calls each one of us to be saints An
