Birthday Box

Children enrolled in the program receive much

needed nutritional support. Each child also receives

a birthday box and gifts at Christmas.

♦ 20-25 pound box of gifts

♦ Given to children ages 3-11

♦ Based on the child’s age and gender

♦ Includes 6-10 new toys (activity learning toys, a crafting/art set,

dolls, Legos and sports equipment), a game, 4-7 new books, school

supplies, stuffed animals, mini gifts and a “party in a bag.”

Children’s Project There are more than 37,500 children under 18 years old in DuPage and Kane

Counties who are living at or below the poverty level. This project is an opportunity to

make a powerful difference in the lives of children and their families.

♦ Includes fun supplies needed to throw a

birthday party, including cake mix, frosting,

candles, plates, napkins, balloons, streamers,

and party decorations.
