1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Our reading program is designed to encourage families and caregivers to read 1,000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten. Studies have shown one of the best ways to encourage learning is to spend time sharing books every day. Reading together helps develop important pre-reading skills that provide a solid foundation for school and learning success. Plus, sharing stories together is fun! Register anytime at the Children’s Help Desk to receive your packet.
