Fitzgerald Auto Malls is committed to being a leader in community service primarily through our Child Safety Seat Inspection Program.

More than 100 associates have been trained since 1999 in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s four day course for Child Passenger Safety Certification. Fitzgerald offers:

Monthly Inspections without an appointment On the third Thursday of each month March through December Fitzgerald hosts an inspection station open to the public to provide education and help installing child safety seats in vehicles at no cost. Working in partnership with county and state agencies, Fitzgerald has inspected more than 40,000 child safety seats since the inception of the program in 1999.

By Appointment specific to a location Tuesday through Thursday at our Gaithersburg, White Flint, Wheaton and Annapolis locations, we offer Child Car Seat Inspections and fittings by requesting an appointment. Please request an appointment if your vehicle requires a factory designed tether anchor installation. As always, the Child Seat Inspection/Installation is free however there may be a small charge for the tether installation Use the form here to request a Child Seat Inspection appointment.

A request does not confirm an appointment. Our trained specialists will notify you to either confirm your appointment or help you schedule another convenient appointment time.
