RECOMMENDATION

That

a) the public be excluded from the following part of the proceedings of this meeting.

b) the general subject of the matter to be considered while the public is excluded, the reason for passing this resolution in relation to each matter and the specific grounds under section 48(1) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 for the passing of this resolution are as follows:

Good reason to withhold exists under section 7

Section 48(1)(a)

c) that this resolution is made in reliance on section 48(1)(a) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and the particular interest or interests protected by section 6 or section 7 of that Act which would be prejudiced by the holding of the whole or relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting in public are as follows:

i Protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased natural persons

Section 7(2)(a)

ii Enable any local authority holding the information to carry on, without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations (including commercial and industrial negotiations)

Section 7(2)(i)

d) the Committee resolve that Greg Tims of Greg Tims & Associates be permitted to remain at this meeting, after the public has been excluded, because of his knowledge of the Chief Executive’s performance criteria and reporting. This knowledge, which will be of assistance in relation to the matter to be discussed, is relevant to that matter because Mr Tims is contracted to facilitate this review.

5 KPI SUMMARY REPORT OF PERFORMANCE 2013/14 A memorandum from the Chief Executive reporting on the 2013/14 is circulated separately to members of the Committee.

5 REPORTING OF RESOLUTIONS IN THE PUBLIC EXCLUDED SESSION

RESOLVED IC16/14/01

That a) The report of Garry Dyet, Chief Executive be received; b) The draft KPIs be reviewed and further refined between the Chief Executive and

Mayor in preparation for a workshop with Council in April, so that the KPIs can be confirmed in June 2014 in line with the adoption of the 2014/15 Annual Plan.
