respect to several career aspects such as jobs, higher studies and entrepreneurship. Further, described
high level development program which has inborn potential to do certain kinds of work whether
developed or undeveloped. Then, he covered several topics in aptitude, to name a few are percentage,
discount and simple interest. Further, described various time saving methods and short cut tricks to solve
word problems and attempt more questions in less time.
Guest Lecture Series on Software Test Management
Department of Computer Science and Engineering has successfully organized five day guest lecture
series on Software Test Management for 12th
– 16th
Sept 2017 organized by Idreambiz Pvt Ltd,
Noida and the resource person was Mr. Sanchit Goel. The guest lecture session started with the
basics of software testing and need of software testing. He also told about role of software testing in
IT industry. Testing is two types Automation testing and Manual testing. Tools used in for
automation testing is silk and load runner.
Resource person gives overview of Agile Software Development, methodology and philosophy. He
also describe Test Management process has two parts: Planning and Execution. Planning part has four
phases: risk analysis, test estimation, test planning and test organization. The best part of the
workshop was that it was followed by hands-on session where students done Smoke Testing,
Regression Testing and System Integration Testing. Resource person describe the purpose of different
type of software testing as Smoke Testing to make sure the major functionality are working fine,
System Integration testing performed on the Application under test, to verify the entire application
works as per the requirements and Regression testing was performed each time a new build is
deployed for testing which contains defect fixes and new enhancements, if any
Five days guest lecture session was concluded with Questionnaire session followed by Vote of
