Quicker Route to Market

Manufacturers on our framework can be appointed through either a mini competition or direct award, depending on

your local requirements. CHIC will support your chosen call off process to establish a contract.

OJEU Compliant

Using CHIC’s Framework, you can ensure that your organisation establishes a supply contract, including optional fitting service, that is fully compliant with procurement regulations.

CHIC regularly has price and product reviews with our supply chain partners to establish the very best value for

money products. We sense check any price changes against alternative market competitors. CHIC secures competitive

rates by aggregating our members spend.

Contract and Commercial Service

CHIC provides constant support to ensure your contract and commercial arrangements remain effective and deliver ongoing value for money. If complications occur, CHIC is there to help secure a quick resolution, offering assurance to our members.

Become a CHIC memberTo gain access to the variety of OJEU compliant frameworks we have available, a registered provider of social housing must first become a member of CHIC. It is free to become a member and there are no requirements to pay fees directly to us as they are all built into the cost of the transaction between member and service provider. Membership may be withdrawn at any time without incurring any costs.

Identify your requirementsOnce a registered provider of social housing have become a member, CHIC then needs to understand some more about what they require. They will be assigned a CHIC Account Manager based upon location, who will work closely with them. They will be the first point of contact for any help, big or small, to understand your needs.

Method of AppointmentThe best method of appointment will be established between you and your CHIC Account Manager. Suppliers can either be appointed through a Mini Competition or Direct Award, based upon your criteria. As our Frameworks are not ranked, Direct Award is based on the 'Most Economical Advantageous Tender' (MEAT), evaluated via a business case, produced by CHIC. Please be assured, the business case justifying any Direct Award takes into consideration a range of varying elements and not simply price.
