Save The Date PostcardsSave the Date postcards are available to promote your upcoming Chicago Southland event (100-500 people booked through the Bureau with 50 total room nights). These postcards are also available electronically. Post cards will be mailed/emailed by event organization.

Site InspectionsThe Chicago Southland CVB can provide you with a personal site inspection of hotels, convention center, expo centers, meeting/event facilities and attractions.

ON-SITE SERVICESOn-Site Services are the services available during your event in the Chicago Southland.

Corporate Social ResponsibilityThe Bureau can coordinate a donation drop off for your event (i.e. eyeglasses, canned food, ink cartridges, cell phones, clothes, etc.) or assist in finding a local community service project (min. 15 business days notice).

Executive Gift BasketA basket containing Chicago Southland regional items can be presented to the event planner, dignitary or executive of your choice (50 total room nights required).

LiteratureWe will provide you with complimentary copies of our printed material including: Visitors Guides, Travelers Maps, Coupon Books, Festivals & Events Guides and Public Transportation Brochures.

Name BadgesSelf-adhesive or hanging name badges with the Chicago Southland logo are complimentary to groups booked through the Chicago Southland CVB. A minimum of 50 room nights booked is required for the Bureau to print attendees’ names on the badges (min. 15 business days notice). Names need to be submitted in an Excel format.

Official GreetingWe can arrange for a welcome letter and/or welcome by a local dignitary (min. 30 days notice).

Plastic BagsThe Bureau has plastic bags (11.5” x 15”) available for registration packets or information distribution.

Profile Sheets (Electronic)Customized profile sheets can be provided in a .pdf format and include important information such as nearby pharmacies, grocery stores, dry cleaners, laundromats, etc.

Registration AssistanceRegistration assistance can be provided to all groups booked through the Chicago Southland CVB (min. 50 total room nights booked and 30 days notice). This service is based on staff availability with a four-hour limit.

Table Tent CardsCustomized table tent cards (8-1/2” x 11” single-fold) are available (min. 15 business days notice).

Welcome SignageThe Bureau can provide you with the following signage options for display at your event:Promotional Sign - rectangular, glossy paper 47.25”w x 12” h (min. 50 room nights and 15 business days notice)Signboard - foam core board 2’ x 3’ (min. 100 room nights and 15 business days notice)Customized Welcome Banner – durable vinyl with grommets 8’ x 3’ (min. 100 room nights and 15 business days notice)

Big Marsh contains multi-use trails for hikers, bikers, birders and cyclists of all ages, with paved and crushed gravel trails for easy walking or riding. For off-road cyclists, Big Marsh has over $1 million in built features, with more on the way. Current offerings include easy, medium and expert jump lines for BMX freestyle riders; a pump track for BMX, Mountain Bikes, and freeride or dirt jump bikes; single-track features including ramps, jumps, sand pits and banked turns for training and enjoyment by all types of riders; and a UCI-legal cyclocross course including Belgian steps and gravity features.

Nature lovers and birders can access the entire 297 acres of the park, by foot and may see species such as Bald Eagles, Turkey Vultures, Red-winged blackbirds, and Blue Herons.

Currently there are three portable unisex restroom units on site and no concession stands. The Ford Calumet Environmental Center is scheduled to be constructed in 2019 and will include classrooms, running water, restroom facilities, concessions, bike repair and event space.
