The National Youth Ministries Network (to which Chi Alpha belongs) has recently concluded U4YAH (Youth for Yahweh) National Convergence for Youth Mobilization 2011 held last May 31-June 2 in International Charismatic Service (ICS) in Mandaluyong City. The 3-day event had one purpose in mind—to call young people into a lifestyle of missions … to the campus, marketplace and the World. 450 youths, mostly students from all parts of the Philippine s attended the event. We were blessed by anointed worship times and speakers. Other highlights include the Islamic and Buddhist “experienc e rooms” immersing delegates to a life of cross-cultur al missions; the campus exposure which sent over 300 youths to the campuses of Manila University Belt and University of the Philippines Diliman to engage in prayerwalking and gospel sharing. On the last night, our National Youth Director Ptr. Sur del Rosario led the youth to commit to be mobilized for campus, workplace, local and cross- cultural missions opportuniti es. The Fruits of Our Labor The responses were evident and exciting! That night a number of young people felt the call of God to be in full time ministry and missions work. It reminded me of centuries back when throngs of young people were called to the mission fields. Let it be so Lord! Five days after the U4yah, the momentum goes on. I believe we have struck something in the heavenlies—“I will  pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy … young men will see visions … And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Joel 2:28-32). The social networks are brewing with dreams and visions from youths, check some of the posts of young people who attended U4yah: 1. Bataan – It’s opening of classes! Can’t wait to share Christ to my classmates and friends!  2. Manila – I’m very much preparing to be a missionary in my school. There are three campus ministries in UE Caloocan but I do believe there’s always room to create a movement in God’s name. 3. UP Diliman - We got the contact infos from U4yah campus exposure. We have 27 UP students. We just had an initial meeting last night. Planning initial steps.  4. Compostella Valley – God is great! We had a home cellgroup yesterday with the family of one of the youth who attended U4yah. Four of their family members accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior!

It’s A Season for Going

Thank you for your partnership through support and

prayers with National Chi Alpha Student Ministry.

The National Youth Ministries Network (to which ChiAlpha belongs) has recently concluded U4YAH

(Youth for Yahweh) National

Convergence for Youth Mobilization

2011 held last May 31-June 2 in

International Charismatic Service (ICS)

in Mandaluyong City. The 3-day event

had one purpose in mind—to call youngpeople into a lifestyle of missions … tothe campus, marketplace and the World.

450 youths, mostly students from all parts of thePhilippines attended the event. We were blessed by

anointed worship times and speakers.

Other highlights include the Islamic and Buddhist

“experience rooms” immersing delegates to a life of cross-cultural missions; the campus exposure which

sent over 300 youths to the campuses of Manila University Belt and

University of the Philippines Diliman to engage in prayerwalking andgospel sharing. On the last night, our National Youth Director Ptr. Sur del

Rosario led the youth to commit to be mobilized for campus, workplace, local and cross-cultural missions opportunities.

The Fruits of Our Labor

The responses were evident and exciting! That night a number of young people felt the call of

God to be in full time ministry and missions work. It reminded me of centuries back whenthrongs of young people were called to the mission fields. Let it be so Lord! Five days after the

5.  Laguna – Please include in prayers the campus ministry that we will start in our school.

We are really burning to share the gospel. We cannot be stopped!

Student: Missionary

God is on the move! After U4yah, the National

Youth Ministries Network, spearheaded by Chi

Alpha Student Ministry is launching Student:Missionary , the nationwide student mobilization

campaign for school year 2011-2012. We arecalling local churches to be SALT: S – Send

students and teachers as missionaries to the

campus; A – Adopt a campus as the chur ch’smission field; L – Launch student discipleship

groups; T – Train students for aggressiveevangelism through intentional discipleship. We

are calling all students to be LIGHT: L – Lift your

classmates and campus in prayer; I – Introduce Christ to your friends and classmates; G –Guide your friends to know Christ more; H – Host a student discipleship group; T – Transform

your D-group into a movement of multiplying disciples.

What a fitting way to cap our summer season and kick-off the school season! We are excited for

what God will do through National Chi Alpha Student Ministry; and we anticipate a great harvest of students in our campuses. Thank you for your valuable support to the National Chi

Alpha Student Ministry!

“The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life.

What a joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!” John 4:36, NLT
