    President's Note

Ello Key Clubbers! :D First off, I hope that you are all enjoying your summer and that you are getting the well deserved rest and relaxation you all deserve! Secondly, thank you to those of you that attended our Club Banquet this past month and even attended Divisional Banquet, as well celebrated all that we have done in the past school year. Thirdly, thank you to those of you that, though it may be summer, have continued to stay diligent in attending events! You have no idea how happy it makes me to see that members know that service is something important and does not just end as soon as the school year does! As I prepare to attend Internationl Convention, I have made sure that there are plenty of events while I am away :D You can help at Concerts In the Park as well as Blood Drives! (For more, look at page 4). I cannot wait to return with ideas and events!

And with that being said, thank you for giving me the blessing and privilege to be your President, and represent our school at events such as ICON. If all goes as planned next year we hopefully will able to sponsor some members to have you experience the International aspect of Key Club!

    With Love, Luis Tenorio

    2011-2012 CHHS Key Club President,

Sarah has proven to be of great value to the club. She has not only kept up a great

attendance into the summer, but has even become one of the Task Coordinators for the

Concerts In The Park! We, as an Executive Board look forward to all that she does with Key

Club in her Junior year, and to see how she grows as an individual and leader! Thank you Sarah for all your hard work and dedication!

Carmela has not only been a great member of our club, but has made her presence known in the Division as she has attended DCMs and even Divisional Banquet! She serves as an example of a Member that goes above and beyond and aims to take advantage of the benefits of Key Club on more than just the club level. As she embarks on her Senior year, we look forward to the lasting impact she will leave behind on the club.

    CRANES FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPITALS

This is a simple event, though leaves a HUGE IMPACT. By making origami cranes and turning them in through Key Club these cranes will

go to UCLA's Children's Hospital Program and brighten the lives of children marred by illness and diseases. The maximum that a single

member can turn in is 200. These cranes can be turned in to an officer at any event, so that way you can kill two birds with one stone ;D

Or if you wish to drop them off at an officer's home, email us! Our contact information can be found on our club website:
