FMMS Chess Club 2013-14 This chess club is open to Fort Mill Middle School students (6 th – 8 th ) serious about learning, playing (recreationally or competitively) or developing their skills in chess. Chess club will meet each Monday beginning September 9 from 3:33-4:30. Registration is open through the end of September, although new chess students may join throughout the year based on availability. Each session will be part chess instruction and part chess playing time. The fee for participating in chess club is $50 for the year ($25 for each additional student in the same family), to help defray the costs of chess workbook sheets and instruction with a Grand Chess Master. This donation may be split into two payments – ½ by Monday, September 23 and ½ by Monday January 13 th . Transportation is not available for students. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to pick up the children at the end of each session, no later than 4:30 PM. Please keep in mind that there will be no adult supervision after 4:30 PM!
