Materials: 1 skein Cherub Chunky, 55% Nylon/ 45% Acrylic, 100 g (3.5 oz) / 136.7 yds (125 m), cowl shown in color #30 (Violet). US 10.5 (6.5 mm) Circular Knitting Needles Stitch Marker

Yarn Needle Gauge: 12 sts x 17 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch.

Abbreviations:

CO = Cast On PM = Place Marker

SM = Slip Marker

K = Knit

P = Purl

YO = Yarn Over

K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together

Psso = Pass slipped stitch over (as in slip 1, knit 1, then pass the slipped stitch over the knit stitch)

Sl1(kw) = insert the right needle into the stitch as if to knit, transfer it over to the right needle.

Open Work Ladders Pattern: Row 1: [K1, sl1(kw), K1, psso, YO, K1, YO, k2tog] Row 2: [K2, P1, K1, P1, K1]

To begin:

CO 84 sts, PM. Join in the round, making sure not to twist your stitches.

Row 1: *[K1, P1] repeat from * to end of round. SM

Row 2: *[P1, K1] repeat from * to end of round. SM

Start Open Work Ladders Pattern:

Row 1: *[K1, sl1 (kw), K1, psso, YO, K1, YO, k2tog] repeat from * to end of round. SM Row 2: *[K2, P1, K1, P1, K1] repeat from * to end of round. SM

Repeat until almost desired length. (Pattern shown was repeated 16 times).

Row 1: *[K1, P1] repeat from * to end of round. SM

Row 2: *[P1, K1] repeat from * to end of round. SM

Finishing: Bind off loosely.

Weave in ends.
