Chemzyme TS20 is a bacterial alpha amylase, produced by submerged fermentation of Bacillus microorganism. It is designed for the desizing of fabrics. Chemzyme TS20 Rapid Desizer Properties Chemzyme TS20 is a brown liquid in appearance. Chemzyme TS20 is a non-food grade product intended for technical applications in textiles only. It can be used in all classical processes. It is not necessary to modify the desizing process when replacing conventional enzymes with Chemzyme TS20. Chemzyme TS20 breaks down starch in textile size without any negative effect on the textile fiber. Compatibility Chemzyme TS20 does not require addition of calcium salts and is compatible with wetting agents and surfactants normally used in desizing process. Application Chemzyme TS20 breaks down starch in textile size without any negative effect on the textile fiber. The optimum dosage of Chemzyme TS20 will depend on desizing conditions, size composition and type of fabric. Standard Application : Chemzyme TS20 3 to 10 g/l (depends on starch content in fiber) Temp. 60 o C to 110 o C PH 5.5 7.5

  • Safety Enzymes are proteins and inhalation of dust or aerosols may induce sensitization and may cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. Some enzymes may irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes upon prolonged contact. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Wash contaminated clothes. Storage and Packing Enzymes generally loose activity overtime depending on storage temperature. Cool conditions are recommended. Chemzyme TS20 is supplied in 200 kg plastic drums.
