We also have strong links with the local University of Liverpool, where we are granted access to theirChemistry and Biology labs, to conduct test work and long term product analysis.

The initial site visit is undertaken to;

2. Laboratory Analysis
The laboratory analysis involves (where possible and if required) testing of the crude oil in ourpurpose built laboratory in the UK.
During this stage multiple chemical formulations, blends and bases are rigorously tested.
This is a key stage in ensuring that the chemical applications applied on site are;

An oil well is a complex ecosystem that contains a number of bacterial and microbacterial components that can impact oil production.Two important bacterial types are Sulphate Reducing Bacteria and Nitrate Reducing Bacteria.
Many bacteria reduce small amounts of sulphates in order to synthesize sculpture containing cell components; this is known asassimilatory sulfate reduction. By contrast, the sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) considered here reduce sulfate in large amounts toobtain energy and expel the resulting sulfide as waste; this is known as dissimilatory sulfate reduction. They use sulfate as the terminalelectron acceptor of their electron transport chain and produce hydrogen sulphide (H2S) as the waste gas product. Most sulfate-reducing bacteria can also reduce other oxidized inorganic sulfur compounds, such as sulfite, thiosulfite, or elemental sulfur (which isalso reduced to sulfide as hydrogen sulphide).
The Chemiphase treatment involves the introduction, stimulation and cultivation of the NRB’s in order to effectively manageH2S problems.
Firstly the product introduces and stimulates the growth of NRBs. In essence, the microbial community is changed from one that isabundant with SRBs to one that is abundant with NRB’s. Secondly, cultivation of the NRBS through a supply of suitable, specificnutrients enable the NR-SOB’s to directly oxidize H2S, meaning a significant decrease in the levels of hydrogen sulphide present in thewell and thus reduction in the issues which accompany high H2S levels.

MEOR is a revolutionary tertiary oil recovery program, engineered to provide fast and comprehensiveresults on underperforming well sites or wells that have ceased to be financially viable.
Why do we need MEOR - a Tertiary Recovery Technique
Peak oil, the time at which oil production reaches its maximum point and begins to decline, is estimated at adate at between 2020 and 2030. This figure is based on the current production rates, but also the currentproduction techniques.
Primary and secondary oil recovery techniques yield extraction rates of between 15 and 50% of the wellstotal reserve. This means that, conservatively, the same amount of oil that has been extracted remainsuntapped once the well ceases to be viable.
MEOR represents an effective tertiary recover technique that will allow the previously unobtainable 50- 85%of a well reserve, to be extracted.
• Secrete bio-surfactants and bio- polymers that lower the surface interfacial tension of the water,allowing for a more comprehensive oil water split.
• Restore the initial gas drive to the well. Increasing the gas drive through respiration and fermentationwill allow for increased oil lift as well as reduced oil viscosity.
• Metabolize carbon atoms from the interior of an alkaline chain, reducing viscosity of the substance tobe pumped, with no apparent degradation of the aromatic ring structure.
• Form biofilms which act to selectively plug porous pathways and actively lift oil attached to
• rock structures out compete unwanted bacterial species which promote unfavourable well
• conditions.

Onsite Product Refinement
The onsite reviews allow us to make immediate refinements to the dosing rate of the chemicals applied on site. Changes to the dosing rates allows us to;
