ANALYTICAL CHEMIST/ QUALITY ASSURANCE

Each year we confront new challenges and accomplish greater goals in the removal, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste. As a result of our tremendous growth, we now seek to add two individuals to our Quality Assurance staff. Audit ing quality control and quali ty assurance activities at our company site labora­tories and developing our comprehensive analytical program are major responsibil it ies of these staff positions.

Based at our Technical Center in Riverdale, IL, the selected candidates wil l prepare comprehensive laboratory audits and monthly summaries, as well as suggest and direct plans for on-site and off-site analytical, opera­tional and management problems. Candidates with a B.S. degree must have at least 8 years appl icable experience, and M.S. and Ph.D. degreed profes­sionals must have at least 5 years appl icable experience. Demonstrated skills in the generation and implementat ion of innovative ideas, communi­cation and personnel supervision^and an understanding of regulatory re­quirements, commercial practices'and industrial trends are required. Also necessary is a knowledge of one or more areas of analytical chemistry especially GC/MS, and management, plus expert knowledge in a field of specialization, such as hazardous waste management.
