We are a Nova Scotia based company that has over 20 years experience in the manufacture and supply of chemicals for use in laboratory, hospital, food processing and industrial applications. We supply chemicals in technical, ACS, food and specialty grades and in packaging formats ranging from 500 grams to drums to totes.

In support of our products we provide:

Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformance are available on request for all products offered.

Health and Safety Information: Material Safety Data Sheets are available on our web site or from our office. All products are labelled according to WHMIS requirements, packaged in appropriately compatible containers and shipped according to TDG regulations.

Custom Manufacturing and Packaging: We custom pack and private label chemical and cleaning products to customer specifications. Please enquire for this service.

Product Design: Our research laboratories have designed and formulated products for a variety of customer applications including laboratory reagents, metal etchants, solvent blends, specific and unusual cleaning applications and concrete additives. Your chemical problems are our challenges!

Technical Advice that we offer is used by many of our customers to solve small and sometimes significant chemical problems.

We believe in and practice sustainable manufacturing. We buy locally wherever possible. Our labels, boxes and many of our containers are sourced from Atlantic manufacturers.

We accept the return of most of the 20 L and 210 L containers that carry our products and our container return and reuse programs have saved thousands of containers from unnecessarily going to landfill.

General InformationThe following grades of chemicals are offered:

Technical - Suitable for many commercial and industrial applications. Purity can often be very good, particualry for solvents. In our catalog technical grade chemicals do not have the grade specified.

ACS - ACS chemicals meet or exceed the purity standards of the American Chemical Society and are suitable for use in general purpose laboratory applications.

USP, NF and FCC—Chemicals that conform to the requirements of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) the National Formulary (NF) and the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC). These products meet the requirements for use in pharmaceutical processing (USP and NF) and for use in food processing operations (FCC)

NIST - the US National Institute of Standards and Technology supplies standard reference materials for use as calibration standards.

AWWA - meets the standards of the American Water Works Association.

Pricing

Prices are listed in this catalog for the chemical items that we offer in smaller packaging formats. For larger size formats, such as 20 L pails, bags, drums or totes, prices are marked as “por” or “Price On Request”. This allows us to offer our customers competitive and current pricing.

Return Policy

We accept returns of product in its original unopened and undamaged packaging within 90 days from the date of sale. Any applicable freight costs will be deducted from the credit. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee. Custom manufactured or specially ordered products can not be accepted for return. All returns require prior approval.

Damaged Goods

Obvious damage to goods in shipping should be reported to the carrier and Bebbington Industries at the time of delivery, hidden damage within 48 hours. Failure to do so may result in the customer being liable for payment.

Propylene Glycol InhibitedBebbington Propylene Glycol Inhibited is a heat transfer fl uid formulated with USP grade Propylene Glycol and is suitable for use in applications where the possibility of incidental food contact exists. This product is formulated for long life and superior corrosion protection when used with steel, aluminum, copper, alloys and solder. Available as a concentrate or ready diluted with water.

We offer a superior technical support program including rapid analysis on the freezing protection of your system and in conjunction with our suppliers, a complete diagnostic analysis of your heat transfer solution.

AVAILABLE as a 100% solution OR as a ready to use solution in water, pre-diluted to your specifi cations.

BIOGREENBIOGREEN is a fully inhibited heat transfer fl uid based on a non toxic glycol made from renewable resources using corn sugar instead of petroleum feedstocks.
