How it works

Biological and Chemical weaponry is a disease contained inside a missile or bomb and launched on the enemy. They also wipe diseases on letters or plant them in soil and send them to the opposition.

Chemical and Biological ● Both Chemical and Biological weapons can

easily kill thousands of people● These weapons are mainly used in wars● Millions of people have died from each of

these weapons

Chemical Weapons

● Chemical weaponry consists of toxic chemicals● Munitions and devices, specifically designed to

cause death or other harm through the toxic

properties of those toxic chemicals● Equipment specifically used to kill large

amounts of people at a time

Biological Weapons

Biological weaponry deals with weapons of mass destruction that uses a biological agent such as bacteria or a virus that is harmful to living beings and vegetation; also called a bioweapon

● Chemical and Biological weapons are really effective for how expensive they are

● In wars they used some chemical weapons to destroy the vegetation so people could not hide

Pros

Pros continued● Biological weapons are easy to spread over a

large amount of people since they can travel through water sources

● They could be used to create and spread a plague throughout opposing armies, and spread said plague to the rest of the country

Cons ● A bad group of people such as terrorists can

easily get this weapon and kill thousands of people

● America has used these weapons in war, but it has also been used on them

● It has killed millions of Americans● One of the biggest disadvantages is that it is

unpredictable

Cons continued● Say a car drives through a city and

somebody has been infected by Chemical and Biological Weapons, then it could infect everyone in the city

● The diseases can be sent as easy as mail● Unlike a gun, you slowly die. It is a horrible

way to die, and can cause more harm than intended

Cons continued● If the wind blows in the wrong direction the

weapons can spread upon our troops causing damage where damage is not wanted

● Some of the diseases can linger longer than desired

● Anthrax can last up to 50 years in soil

Ways to protect yourself● Being protected from Biological and

Chemical weaponry is not easy● The only way to protect yourself is by

wearing a gas mask and complete body coverings
