7 – 13 February Human Impact The University of Gloucestershire presents an inspiring exhibition, showcasing the work of eight recent MA Photography graduates. The exhibition contains a diverse range of individual student led projects: from abstract macro photography to large landscape pieces, 3D works and documentary film.

… until 18 February 2018 New Year, New Member – Helen Foot – Textiles The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen is delighted to welcome new Associate Member, Helen Foot. To help us launch 2018, Helen will show a collection of her handwoven scarves in the window of the Guild at 51. 20 February – 15 April Back to Living with Nature’s Design An exhibition of contemporary craft for the home. Following the success of last year's, Home Sweet Home exhibition, Living with Nature’s Design revisits handmade pieces for interiors, taking forms and patterns in nature as a design starting block to produce new work specifically for The Guild at 51. Furniture designer-makers, Kristian Pettifor and David Ian Smith have made a table, a chest of drawers and lighting, which will be complimented by textile panels from Jenny Bicât.

Wet Socks by Ben Sanderson This is the first exhibition of Hardwick Gallery's 2018-2020 curated programme. This presentation revisits recent paintings by Cornwall-based artist Ben Sanderson made in different contexts and settings that resonate with personal and collective symbolism.

Hardwick Gallery is a space for the exploration of art and ideas.

The gallery presents a public programme of exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, talks and discussion events, selected in collaboration with undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Art & Design at the University of Gloucestershire.

Entry to the gallery is free.
