Welcome! Chelsey Emery is a small design studio located just outside Boston, run by a detail-loving, architect turned graphic-designer. Chelsey’s aesthetic is timeless with a twist; a blend of both classic proportions and modern touches, she produces invitations that are elegant, without being formal or stuffy, with both a strong sense of design and style. By including bold colors and patterns, often paired with whimsical calligraphy and classic text, her designs are simple yet sophisticated.

Whether letterpress or flat printed, all invitations are printed on thick, 100% cotton paper giving even ordinary invitations a wonderfully luxurious feel. Customizations including colors, patterns and fonts are all welcomed and encouraged, in order to achieve the perfect invitation for each unique event.

1WHAT MAKES CHELSEY EMERY DIFFERENT?

We believe only the finest will do for your big day. All invitations are

printed on a luxurious 100% cotton stock, something most

companies charge an additional premium for (if they even offer it at all!)

As a small design studio I am able to work one-on-one with

each of my clients to ensure all needs are met, and every detail covered.

The design process is completely collaborative. You might have an idea

about your invitations but aren’t sure if it will work well, we can

discuss, show you options, give you suggestions

and tweak designs until they are absolutely perfect for your event.

3I want you to have the perfect invitations just as much as you do (really!). If you want to

change the colors, wording, fonts or make a tiny tweak to the design - no problem.

Mix and match printing styles? No problem. Change the envelope color?

Again, no problem and NO EXTRA CHARGES TO DO ANY OF IT!

1 color metallic foilFoil printing is similar to letterpress, where raised type is pressed into the surface of the paper. Instead of inking the type, a sheet of foil is inserted between the type and paper, and when pressed, the foil is transferred to the paper creating a true metallic shine.

The Design Process :When you are ready to begin you will be sent three items. The first is an order Form, where you can note the style, wording, colors and any other changes you might desire. Once you have completed your order form you will recieve a design agreement and estimate, as well as an invoice for the deposit. Both the deposit and any sample costs will be credited to your order total.

Rounds of proofs will be delivered via email in PDF format. There are three (3) rounds of proofs included, additional proofs are $25 each. With each round of proofs you can suggest changes to revise and refine the designs, which will be incorporated into the next round of proofs. Proofs are generally turned around in 2-3 business days. Please keep in mind that the fonts are often an integral part of the design and changing them can alter the style of the invitation considerably, sometimes resulting in additional rounds of edits if they don’t match what you imagined.

When the design has been finalized and approved, you will be sent an invoice for payment. Files will be released to the printer once your payment clears. Standard printing times are 2-3 weeks for flat printing, and 5-6 weeks for letterpress printing.

How long will my project take?Each design is tailored to your specific project and unique tastes, therefore as the client, you must provide requested information and feedback in a timely manner. Estimated dates of completion will vary based on the number of changes requested and your response time for critiques and approvals of the designs.

Designs will be delivered in rounds until final approval is given. Typically proofs are turned around 2-3 days after receiving your feedback; please allow for additional time on completely custom designs.

DELIVERYAll packages are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. Rates are calculated based on order size and are added to your final invoice.

At this time, we are unable to ship internationally.

TERMINATIONOrders can be canceled at any time prior to final approval. Deposits are for design services and will not be refunded.

Once the final invoice is paid and the design is approved to go into production, orders can no longer be canceled for any reason. Due to the custom nature of these products we are unable to accept returns.

ChelseyEmery is not responsible for the cost associated with re-printing and shipping due to errors approved by client. Should an error occur on our end, we will take actions to remedy the situation as quickly as possible, in the form of a reprint, refund or credit towards a future purchase.
