Welcome to Week 7
Book Fair: Wow, what a great day! Congratulations on your costumes
everyone, you looked awesome! It was great to see lots of mums, dads,
grandparents and friends take the time to pop in throughout the day and visit
classrooms. The parade was wonderful and there are lots of photos up on the
website.
Book Fair was once again a great success and we thank everyone for supporting
the event. The school will no doubt benefit from the sales with new books for our
library. Thank you to Mrs Shannon for organising the Fair.
Premiers Spelling Bee: Congratulations to all the students who
participated in the Premiers Spelling Bee. It can be quite a nerve racking task and
you all did extremely well. Good luck to the following students who will be
representing our school at the regional finals later this term.
Year 3/4: Luke Lambert and Morwenna Hogan
Year 5/6: Annika Swift and Kai Hogan.
Naplan: Yesterday all students in Years 3 and 5 received their Naplan results.
If you wish to discuss the results please see your child’s teacher.
Power Outage: This Thursday our school will be without power all day. It
will be business as usual and teachers are looking forward to going back to “ old
school “ teaching for the day.
