The Heidt’s SUPERIDE IRS kit includes: cast aluminum alloy center housing and outer uprights; 9” third member, steel halfshafts including 1350 heavy duty U-joints; new forged inner stub axles with bearings and seals; Wilwood rotors and polished calipers; aluminum caliper plates; Corvette outer bearing assem-blies and flanges; tubular lower control arms with adjusters; Aldan billet coil-overs with chrome springs; urethane bushed upper crossmember with outer mounting brakets; pinion support crossmember with urethane bushed links; forward struts with urethane bushed ends are also included. Tread widths for all the popular applications from 55” to 62” are standard. Call for additional options.

Front AxlesI-BEAM AXLES are high strength cast iron, and are de-signed to accept ‘37-’48 Ford passenger car spindles. Applications include ‘28-’34 Ford, 1/2 ton Ford trucks up through1941, and ‘35-’36 Fords when you split the original bones. Split wishbone kits and instructional sheets are available. TUBE AXLES are machined to ac-cept the early Ford spindle and come in two standard widths: 46.5” and 49” from kingpin to kingpin. Tube ends are cast iron with a 2” outside diameter.

Triangulated A-Arm design, similar to factory GM control arms, provides stability and strength with-in the arm itself. Comes complete, ready to install with mounting bolts, spacers, shock bolts, nuts, installed ball joints and bushings. Also available in 5/8” narrowed per side. Narrowed arms must be used in sets of uppers and lowers. Coil-overs accept any standard aftermarket coil-over shock.

Heidt’s Tri-5 Tubular Upper/Lower A-Arms

Tubular Upper A-Arms are a direct replacement for stock upper A-Arms, and they include new design cross shafts which have offset built in to increase camber adjustability. Stainless arms are fully polished except cross shafts and come with urethane bushings. Narrowed Tubular A-Arms are narrowed 1.5” per side, and must be used in sets of uppers and lowers. Please specify standard or narrowed width and plain or stainless finish when ordering. Add $130.00 for stainless.
