Chassis Equipment TypesOur customers want the right chassis at the right time, with a variety of choices for every containerized load... Available in more locations than any other provider; TRAC’s fleet consists of 276,000 active chassis in 602 Marine pool locations, 166 Domestic pool locations and 61 Depots across North America. Wherever you move cargo, TRAC is there.
Our chassis are well-maintained to meet Federally and locally mandated roadability laws. Our chassis are manufactured to provide high-reliability and feature components such as sealed beam LED lighting, extra-heavy-duty landing gear, specially coated brake shoes and locking mechanisms that better withstand damage.
While in service, TRAC Intermodal equipment is maintained and repaired under supervision of our depot and pool technical staff to assure our customers safe and reliable service.
Chassis come in sizes tailored to the containers they carry, with some chassis being “adjustable” for different containers. They are available for daily rentals at our pool locations, and for short or long term lease.
